Linda M. Galante, an attorney and author, has completed her first book “Still Warmed by Your Love”: this potent and endearing story is a trip into unexplored reaches of imagination filled with enlightening and inspirational tales.
On what was her inspiration for writing this book, author Linda M. Galante said, “My son Michael's sudden death at the age of 22 was the inspiration for this book. I was devastated and started writing letters to him about my thoughts and memories of him and the feelings I was experiencing. Each letter, although exhausting, gave me a certain comfort and made me feel closer to him. So I continued and included a few letters to my daughter, who was also struggling with her grief and living in a different city.”
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Linda M. Galante’s poignant tale is both reflective and insightful; this work leaves no stone unturned as it examines the failures and successes of a resilient soul.
When Linda Galante’s son, Michael, died suddenly at the tender age of twenty two, she was devastated. To cope with her immense grief, Linda started writing letters to Michael. These inspiring letters, which include several to her daughter, Lauren, and a few others, along with several poems that Michael had written as a child, helped her to sort out her feelings and became a source of comfort and healing. “Still Warmed by Your Love” is not only a mother’s reflections after the death of her only son, but also a reminder that letting go doesn’t mean forgetting. Rather, this book is about finding acceptance; recognizing that healing, like everything else, is a choice; and never losing hope that each day brings the opportunity for endless possibilities.
Readers who wish to experience this inspiring work can purchase “Still Warmed by Your Love” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
