ACT Foundation Expands Strategic Leadership with Two New Vice Presidents
Austin, TX (PRWEB) February 10, 2015 -- Marcy Drummond joins ACT Foundation as Vice President, Operations and Impact, from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where she served as a Lead Senior Program Officer for Postsecondary Success. Prior to the Gates Foundation, Marcy served more than nine years as Los Angeles Trade-Technical College’s Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness and Innovation and as Vice President of Academic Affairs and Workforce Development. She brings more than 25 years of experience across virtually every sector of US secondary and postsecondary education.
Mindy Feldbaum joins ACT Foundation as Vice President, Strategy and Programs, from The Collaboratory, LLC, an education and workforce development innovation consulting firm, where she served as CEO. Prior to The Collaboratory, Mindy spent more than nine years at the U.S. Department of Labor directing four major discretionary grant programs overseeing more than $2 billion in grants, and at the Conference of Mayors advocating on behalf of big city mayors on workforce and economic development issues and legislation. She brings more than 24 years of experience in national education and workforce development policies, strategies, and initiatives.
