Marktech Optoelectronics has opened its first detector facility in Semi Valley, California. The new manufacturing plant will feature a class 1000 clean room and will focus on custom and standard detectors utilizing both Si and InGaAs. Standard packages include TO-5, TO-18, To-39 and TO-46 with a variety of lens options. Custom designed products include Chip on Board types, modules and hybrids with built in electronics.

Heading up this new venture will be Barry Jones who arrives with more than 34 years of experience in the design and manufacturing of optoelectronic detection and RF microelectronic devices. Prior to joining Marktech Barry served in various positions including CEO and General Manager of Pacific Silicon Sensor Inc. and Operations Manager at Centro Vision Inc. in California.
Now celebrating its 30th year, Marktech Optoelectronics is a manufacturer of sensors and InP epiwafers. Marktech maintains an onsite engineering and design team with years of experience in applications and product design. Marktech's only business is optoelectronics and we take pride in our support capabilities which features a lab containing state of the art test equipment allowing us to test and validate for all optical and electrical parameters. In addition to our sensor line Marktech is a Cree Solutions Provider for their line of High Brightness LEDs and materials.
