Advanced Discovery has built a solid Forensic Department that provides excellent, knowledgeable and efficient service to all clients.

Since the influx of venture capital money from Trivest Partners in August 2014, Advanced Discovery has been attracting some of the most talented professionals in the electronic discovery industry. This is certainly true for the new VP of Forensic Services. Andreas Mueller has 16 years of experience working with law firms, corporate legal departments and service providers assuring that defensible and repeatable forensic methodologies and eDiscovery workflows are employed in the handling of electronic evidence and ESI from preservation to production. He has also served as designated 30(b)(6) witness for various corporations in the past.

Along with providing these hands-on services, he has been a guest speaker at several law firms, where he makes presentations to attorneys involved with eDiscovery and cyber security. His presentations include actionable information about cyber security, data spoliation, backup restoration, forensic technologies and preparation for the Rule 26(f) Meet and Confer.

As VP of forensic services, Andreas will be overseeing the existing Forensics Department, as well as introducing data collection technologies that will expand Advanced Discovery’s forensic capabilities while reducing client costs. He will also direct the establishment of new services to the far left of the EDRM.

Andreas has a clear vision for his new role: “Advanced Discovery has built a solid Forensic Department that provides excellent, knowledgeable and efficient service to all clients. I see my role to build on that department, to enhance our services and add new and innovative technology, while raising the bar on client service. We also plan to launch cyber-security and corporate eDiscovery groups adding penetration testing, information and cyber security, information governance and data preservation to our suite of services.”
