Actress ANNE MARIE NESTOR is Heartbroken in the Traditional Romance Film “OLD FASHIONED”
LOS ANGELES, CA (PRWEB) February 11, 2015 -- Just in time for Valentine’s Day, OLD FASHIONED, centers on Clay Walsh (Rik Swartzwelder), a former frat boy who gives up his reckless lifestyle and meets a free-spirited young woman (Elizabeth Ann Roberts) with a restless soul. Drawn together, they must overcome their fears as they attempt the impossible: an "old-fashioned" courtship in contemporary America. Nestor joins the storyline as Clay’s college love who comes back into his life seeking solace to heal her broken heart.
The film is being touted as the “anti-Fifty Shades of Grey” for its clean and chivalrous approach to romantic storytelling. In addition to starring in the project, Swartzwelder wrote, directed and produced the film under his Skoche Films banner with Nathan Nazario of Motion Picture Pro Studios, Dave DeBorde and Nini Hadjis.
Nestor is thrilled with the opportunity to be part of OLD FASHIONED, adding “This movie was an absolute pleasure to work on. Everyone has been so kind, informative and professional during the casting, filming and post production. Rik has created a film that I am very proud to be a part of.”
Nestor has been building a solid resume and reputation working in film, television and stage. She is best known for her starring role as Sarah in the feature film “Turbine” and as Sharon Donley in the short film “The Louder the Better.” Her television credits include NBC's “One Life to Live,” IFC's “The Onion News Network” and FOX's animated series “Magical DoReMi.”
The Princeton, NJ native first got a glimpse into the world of acting when she attended the Broadway show “Annie” with her family as a young girl. She immediately began cultivating her talents and later attended Vassar College majoring in Music and Vocal Performance. She continued her training in New York City with The Barrow Group, Bob Krakower and at the prominent improv school Upright Citizen’s Brigade. She recently moved to Los Angeles to further her career opportunities where she has had the pleasure to study under Craig Archibald and at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio.
Anne Marie Nestor is represented by Nanci Robbins at Roth & Associates.
