We have learned that one in five Arizonians actually live in hunger. That is an alarming number…We felt compelled to use our resources to bring people together and help families feed themselves and their children.

The Misty Everette Agency announced the debut of its charity program designed to benefit the local community. The agency will work closely with nonprofit organizations in the area, to nominate a new beneficiary every 60 days. The idea is to create campaigns to help elected individuals, families or programs with immediate support by bringing awareness and funds to those very important causes.

To launch the program, Misty Everette, the agency’s principal, has chosen to introduce Feed a Family’s Wish. The campaign’s mission has been to provide food to local families going through hardship, so children and their parents don’t go without a warm meal. The campaign has already exceeded its original $500 goal, and continues to welcome new donations until the end February. The raised funds are being directed to the capable hands of Mom’s Pantry, a program fostered by the local Christian Life Outreach.

“We have learned that one in five Arizonians actually live in hunger. That is an alarming number…We felt compelled to use our resources to bring people together and help families feed themselves and their children. This is not a reality we could just accept as agents of change in our community, and we are thrilled to witness our customers, friends and business partners stepping up to help fight this serious issue,” said Everette.

Each cause showcased by the agency will accompany a detailed full story about the elected cause on a designated donations page. To join the Misty Everette Agency in supporting Feed a Family’s Wish, donors are encouraged to visit the campaign page at http://www.razoo.com/story/Feed-A-Family-S-Wish-This-Season?referral_code=sw, and share it with their friends and family through social media and email.

With the newly launched program, the Misty Everette Agency has taken responsibility for promoting that page through its many channels, to include its own database of thousands of customers, business partners, staff, neighbors and friends.

The agency also owns a monthly publication, Our Hometown magazine, which reserves a full page featuring the campaign. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue of the magazine has been delivered to thousands of households, and can be accessed here: http://www.mistyeveretteagency.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_41.
