Exclusive Louisville hotel package plus Derby Drinks, Live Music and more Hyatt Regency Louisville invites horseracing fans to enjoy the greatest two minutes in sports with an exclusive Kentucky Derby package and festivities happening throughout Derby Weekend. The Race for the Roses in Louisville package includes a welcome reception on Thursday, April 30, 2015, plus evening turndown with racing forms and programs for the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby. The hotel is also offering a Derby Club Upgrade featuring an upgraded breakfast, appetizers and cocktails in comfortable, exclusive surroundings.

Sway restaurant will have their own hand-selected bourbon barrel on-hand, as well as 60 unique bourbons through Kentucky Derby weekend, including Pappy Van Winkle, Jefferson Presidential Select, George T. Stagg and Elijah Craig. For those looking for a truly unique cocktail, the bar’s Ghost of Sway special includes Jacob’s Ghost Whiskey, Orange Liqueur, Orange Bitters, Orange Marmalade and Club Soda, served in a mason jar at the table. The bar will also have a humidor with cigars available for sale, as well as a special rare Mint Julep, a Derby staple.

All hotel guests will be greeted with a reception on Thursday, and on Friday and Saturday there will be an interactive turndown station. Beautiful hats will be on display from “Drinks at the Plaza,” where there will be an expert on hand to customize your hat’s style to match any color dress. Get in some local shopping with a host of other vendors, and enjoy Bluegrass music all weekend long while relaxing in the lobby.
