On how long it took him to write the book, author Edward Brockert said, “I found this work in the library 23 years ago. After five years I began to learn more about it and after five more years the idea of a children's edition began to be formulate. Another five years passed and the rough draft passed the inspection of young readers. A lot of time was spent in a drawer.”
