The patent-pending system allows advertisements to be played on telephone calls that are going to wrong or closed numbers, said Ellis, allowing ads to potentially reach up to 90-million listeners every day.

“There is nothing like it in the world,” said Ellis, “ads can be placed into local markets, regional or national markets, while targeting calls coming from cell phones, landlines, homes or businesses, or other originators. The demographics that can be generated on each listener is astounding.”

Some ads can generate text messages back to the callers, while others can deliver music downloads, coupons, web site links, mobile apps, and other interactive services, said Ellis.

“This is an absolutely new and innovative advertising medium -- it has never been used, it has never been available to the American market, until now.”
