Jamberry is honored to be the official nail sponsor of the Nicholas K runway show February 12th at 9am EST at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City’s Lincoln Center.
Jamberry collaborated with Nicholas K sister and brother design duo Nicholas and Christopher Kunz to create two exclusive nail wrap designs for the models to wear with the gothic cinema-inspired Fall/Winter 2015 collection as it debuts on the runway. Through this collaboration, the Nicholas K designers were able to create truly customized nail art - drawing inspiration from the prints of their collection and tweaking colors to just the right hues.
Nail art has become one of the ultimate accessories on designer runways in New York and around the globe. A hybrid of fashion and beauty, it adds an artistic accent and an additional expression of a designer’s vision to an already heightened fashion experience.
Jamberry nail technicians will be backstage to apply the nail wraps to runway models with Jamberry’s unique heat + pressure technique that requires no dry time and has no risk of smudging. This is ideal for the fast-paced nature of fashion week, especially because the vinyl-based nail wraps are gentle on models’ nail beds as they run from show to show with frequent nail color change-ups.
