Turn Up the Heat Gala to Feature Power Pressure Cooker XL

Most of us have had some direct or indirect experiences with how cancer can impact the lives of our families and friends. Ovarian cancer is a personal cause for me and one I have pledged to support.

Fusion Life Brands will be supporting women with ovarian cancer in February through its sponsorship of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance’s 10th Annual Turn Up the Heat gala on February 18th at The Ronald Reagan Building. This event raises critical funds to support the Alliance with a tasting featuring top women chefs and mixologists from around the DC region. In the ten years since it debuted, Turn Up the Heat has raised more than $2 million for programs that support women with ovarian cancer.

The 2015 Turn Up the Heat features dishes and drinks from 55 women chefs and mixologists working at some of the hottest restaurants in the DC area. Special guest Melissa d’Arabian, a Food Network star and best-selling author, will entertain guests. Attendees will also have the chance to bid on luxury vacations, sporting experiences, meals at local restaurants—and Power Pressure Cooker XLs serving as innovative centerpieces at the gala.
