The Washington, DC personal injury attorneys at Chaikin, Sherman, Cammarata & Siegel, P.C. have announced that they will begin accepting applications for the firm’s 2015-2016 Ethiopian Heritage College Scholarship. Eligible applicants will be allowed to submit their applications from March 2, 2015 through June 26, 2015 at 5 p. m..
Chaikin, Sherman, Cammarata & Siegel’s annual Ethiopian Heritage College Scholarship fund was created in 2008 to recognize and support graduating high school seniors in the DC metropolitan area that have been accepted to a 2 or 4 year course of study. The fund is intended to provide financial assistance to college bound high school seniors who come from newly immigrated families as a way to help them pay for their college education.
The scholarship is available to applicants who have few economic resources and will be attending an accredited two or four year college or university. In order to be considered for the scholarship, applicants must meet all of requirements set forth on the website and submit a complete application no later than June 26, 2015 at 5 p.m. Recipients of the scholarship must also regularly submit proof of good academic standing throughout their college education. The successful applicant will be announced in August.
