Online dating has been in public eye for a while now, but I can say confidently that only the recent mobile apps boom has finally put it mainstream front and center.

Skalfa LLC, the company behind popular online dating software SkaDate X, is ready to reveal its new creation. SkaDate Android App is a follow up to the SkaDate iOS App, which combines the best practices of old-school online dating and new trends set by Tinder and other similar apps.

There’s an underlying message in the chosen release date (the traditional spike for online dating industry just happen to coincided with a post St. Valentine’s Day wave). Dating is moving to mobile at an increasing pace, and anyone looking to get on the bandwagon should do so now.

“After reinventing our core application, we witnessed rapid growth and expansion of the mobile market,” said Skalfa CEO Emil Sarnogoev. “Online dating has been in public eye for a while now, but I can say confidently that only the recent mobile apps boom has finally put it mainstream front and center.”

The latest iDate conference in Las Vegas (where SkaDate once again was an awards finalist in the Best Dating Software Provider category) was all about mobile. As reported by several speakers, the growing popularity of Tinder just reignited interest in online dating, while also signifying a game change. Old school is still going strong, but the real money is in the simplified on-the-go interaction courtesy of various apps.

This is where Skalfa holds an upper hand compared to other software producers and copycat developers. Just like SkaDate iOS App (released along the software in August 2014), the new Android version combines the best of both worlds. It employs the traditional matchmaking system of old-school online dating sites, as well as the new Tinder-like mechanics.

“Our goal is to give customers an affordable and useful tool,” said Zima Sanfilippo, SkaDate Project Manager. “You can customize the app to your liking and go all mobile, or make it a nice addition to a traditional dating site.”

Quite a few Tinder clones entered the market since its breakthrough last year. Yet, most of them fail due to the poor financial backing, sub-par development quality, lack of corporate involvement, or a variety of other reasons. In contrast, Skalfa used its decade-long history of dating software and app development to come up with a solid product. Reliable support, branding customization, and app monetization options, are all readily available just like with SkaDate X and SkaDate iOS application.
