The new ReadyCam system not only captures video in high-definition, but is capable of sending all video over the internet, saving hundreds of dollars over the traditional method of fiber or satellite transmission. The video studio enables experts at the Hanover, New Hampshire campus to quickly and easily access worldwide TV and cable news networks and participate in live TV interviews whenever requested.

“The VideoLink team worked closely with Dartmouth to ensure the ReadyCam’s advanced technology would enable us to react more effectively to live TV opportunities, as well as manage costs,” said Diana Lawrence, media relations director at Dartmouth College. “The studio is very user friendly, and we look forward to using it to enhance Dartmouth’s public profile.”

The ReadyCam video studio comes equipped with broadcast quality HD camera and lighting package, electronic backdrop, and IP-based transmission equipment that allows users to schedule and manage transmission feeds online using a web-friendly user interface.
