AC/DC put on an unforgettable perforamcne at the 2015 Grammy Awards last week and this blockbuster group has recently announced the North America tour dates for their “Rock or Bust” tour. This legendary rock group has been performing since 1973 after getting together in Australia. Their 2015 tour is in support of their newest studio album, Rock or Bust. The manner in which they will promote their first album since 2010 will be with 13 stadium dates throughout the United States beginning on August 22nd from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA and will run through a stop at the world famous Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, CA on September 28th.
AC/DC as they once stood are a bit different in terms of members, but there are still familiar faces and names that will be touring later this year on North America. Stevie Young is taking the place of his uncle, founding member Malcolm Young, who is suffering from dementia. Former member, Chris Slade, is making his comeback to the group, replacing Phil Rudd.
Regardless of the entire lineup of members, AC/DC is one of the best-selling rock bands in the history of the music business. Since joining forces, the group has totaled to sell more than 70 million records in the United States. With the “Rock or Bust” tour, the group will look to add to their album sales totals and will enjoy performing around the United States and Canada in what will be their 21st tour.
When AC/DC hits the stage for their North American tour, fans will hope to hear many of their greatest hits including “T.N.T.,” “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap,” “Back in Black,” “Highway to Hell,” “Hells Bells,” “You Shook Me All Night Long,” “Rock and Roll Ain’t Noise Pollution,” “Thunderstruck,” “Who Made Who,” and “Stiff Upper Lip.”
In addition to stops in Massachusetts and California during the North American portion of their tour, AC/DC will also play at other popular venues including Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, Ford Field in Detroit, MI, Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL, Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and TD Place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Fans in the United States will also get a chance to see AC/DC perform this April when they are one of the headlining acts at the Coachella Music Festival.
