We started Perscio out of a passion to make the world of Big Data more approachable and usable. Our goal is to make businesses grow faster using predictive analytics and open data sets.

In the 21st century, the world has exploded with data. In fact, 80 percent of all the world’s data has been created in the last two years alone. To meet this growing demand for managing and analyzing this wealth of information, new Big Data firm Perscio, LLC, has plans to expand operations in Indianapolis with 48 new jobs by 2019.
“Look at Indiana’s recent tech boom and you’ll see that Hoosiers are driving the future of technology in this nation,” said Eric Doden, president of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC). “Hoosiers are leading companies like Perscio and innovating new ways to drive business success, all while operating in an environment built for their growth in Indiana.”
As data production is projected to grow at a rate of 40 percent per year, and as social media and sensor technologies continue to expand the types of data available, it is more important than ever to have a systematic approach to sorting, analyzing and understanding the true value of Big Data.
Recognizing the limitless potential of Big Data opportunities, Perscio was founded by veteran tech sector CEO Bob Boehnlein in 2014. The company leverages open data sets, predictive analytics, sensor technologies and stunning visualizations to help clients transform their business. The team has several combined decades of experience in information technology, strategic planning and analytics, making it uniquely positioned with strong expertise in this budding landscape.
"We started Perscio out of a passion to make the world of Big Data more approachable and usable. Our goal is to make businesses grow faster using predictive analytics and open data sets,” said Boehnlein.
The company will create 48 new jobs with an average wage of $43 per hour by the end of 2019. In support of Perscio’s initiatives, the IEDC offered Perscio up to $775,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $60,000 in training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. These incentives are performance-based, meaning that until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives.
