Rockville Chamber Participates in Area Non-Profit Activities

Upcoming events provide opportunities for Rockville Chamber members and guests to give back to the community.

The Rockville Chamber of Commerce continues its community activities and support of area non-profit organizations. The following opportunities are available for Chamber and non-Chamber members. Please register at http://www.rockvillechamber.org.

Feb. 26th at College Living Experience, 401 N. Washington Street, Suite 420. The Rockville Chamber conducts mock job interviews with people with disabilities. Members will receive training on how to conduct an interview along with sample questions. Then they will conduct interviews with people with disabilities and provide feedback on how to improve their skills.

March 7th at Adventure Theatre MTC in Wintergreen Plaza. Volunteers from Rockville Chamber, Kohl’s and Pajama Party would meet at 8am to wrap pajamas and books. After wrapping, volunteers will head to Wider Circle for the “Well Mother / Well Baby” class to distribute PJs and books to mothers and kids.

April 28th at Manna Food Bank, 9311 Gaither Road, Gaithersburg. The Chamber is presorting food and packing boxes.
