Netpulse and The Fitness Industry Technology Council Align on Creating Open Standards
Covington, LA (PRWEB) February 20, 2015 -- The Fitness Industry Technology Council (“FIT-C”) is pleased to announce that Netpulse, the leading provider of branded mobile club apps, has joined the council and will work to support the FIT-C mission in creating interoperability standards to advance user experience and propel the industry forward.
FIT-C is a collaboration of dedicated leaders representing the innovators within the field of technology and across the fitness industry. FIT-C aims to develop a common affordable widely adoptable networking solution through industry standards to leverage across the multitude of applications now and in years to come.
Kelly Sweeney, has served on the board of FIT-C during the past year. Her company, Club Apps, was recently acquired by Netpulse and her new role as Head of Business Development will strengthen alliances between FIT-C and Netpulse. Through this partnership, Netpulse and it’s leadership, will help drive the mission of moving the industry forward by embracing the concept of an open strategy to grow the marketplace.
