Vision ME iPad Classroom Workflow App Supports Bilingual Education
Portland, Ore. (PRWEB) February 18, 2015 -- Netop, a worldwide leader in classroom management software, today announced the release of a new version of its innovative Vision ME iPad classroom workflow app. Designed to make teaching in an iPad classroom easier and more effective, the new version features increased flexibility for presenting and sharing files and expanded language support.
Ideal for bilingual education, foreign language lessons, and English language learners, Vision ME is now available in Spanish, French, Dutch and German, as well as English. Switching between languages is as easy as changing your iOS language setting, making it possible to teach (or learn) in one language in the morning, and a second in the afternoon. And Vision ME supports mixed language classrooms, where each student chooses the language setting that works best for them.
“Almost 10% of US public school students are English Language Learners, most commonly Spanish-speaking, and they face particularly tough challenges meeting educational expectations,” said Kurt Bager, CEO of Netop. “With this new version of Vision ME, we’re pleased to provide bilingual educators and students with access to the powerful tools that have been shown to improve learning outcomes.”
With Vision ME, teachers can easily present lessons on student iPads, showcase student work to the entire class, chat with students, share files efficiently, deliver lessons online and conduct web-based assessments in any of the five supported languages. Additionally, mobile device management features enable teachers to focus the attention of the class by blanking student iPad screens and blocking web-browsing.
The new version of Vision ME also includes expanded options for presenting and sharing files. In addition to Google Drive and Dropbox, teachers and students can now select files stored in an iCloud drive or in the Camera Roll on their iPad to present to the class, iPad to iPad. Options for distributing and collecting files have been similarly expanded, helping teachers to optimize workflow in paperless classrooms.
Vision ME is available for free 30-day trials. The Vision ME system is made up of three components: a web-based system used to organize classes called the Learning Center; and the Vision ME teacher and Vision ME student apps, which are available to download for free in the App Store. To get started, please begin by setting up your Vision ME trial at http://www.netop.com/visionme.
Pricing for Vision ME starts at $7.50 per user, with volume discounts available.
