New Admiral Insurance Company vice president Daniel Smyrl responsible for all casualty, professional, and property business written out of the Mt. Laurel, NJ branch.

Admiral Insurance Company, a W. R. Berkley Company, today announced that Daniel Smyrl has been named vice president of the Mt. Laurel NJ branch, a position that will report directly to Scott R. Barraclough, executive vice president primary operations.

Mr. Smryl is a 12 year veteran at Admiral having served in increasing levels of responsibility since he joined Admiral in 2002. In his new role he will be responsible for all casualty, professional, and property business written out of the Mt. Laurel, NJ branch.

Mr Barraclough said: “I am pleased to have a leader like Dan assume this expanded role in a critically important region of Admiral’s wholesale dedicated business. Dan has demonstrated exceptional leadership in his time at Admiral, most recently building an impressive casualty book of business over the past 8 years. In his new role, Dan will bring that same leadership to the entire branch, helping Admiral to continuously excel at serving the needs of our clients.”
