With a new community program in the Laredo, TX area, Duterte Insurance Group has announced a new charity campaign to raise funds to support Nicole, a local teenage girl who is fighting Leukemia. Nicole and her mother were transported to San Antonio where she could receive proper treatment, leaving two younger brothers behind. Nicole’s mother had to quit her job and let her house go, and has been staying at hotels for the duration of Nicole’s treatment. Duterte Insurance Group is starting this campaign to help Nicole and her mother get funds to cover the medical bills and traveling expenses. Donations to the family can now be made through the campaign’s page at http://bestinsurancelaredo.com/Teenage-Girl-Kicking-Cancers-Butt_16_community_cause.

Utilizing its own resources and seeking the help of its own network of customers and business partners, Duterte Insurance Group marches on to ensure customers, friends, family and neighbors are always in good hands. The agency just recently launched the master charity program of which the current campaign is part of, electing every 60 days a new individual, organization or family in need to receive support.

“We can’t imagine how hard it must be for Nicole and her family to be away from home while going through this scary process, but we find her smile and braveness inspiring. We want to take away the financial worries from them and let them focus on what’s important, staying strong and getting better,” said Keefe Duterte, the Agency’s principal.

The agency will promote the current campaign over the course of the next 45 days, through its social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through a monthly magazine, delivered to thousands of households in Texas, where the agency currently operates. Our Hometown magazine reserves a full page to feature the campaign and details of the cause. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue can be accessed here: http://bestinsurancelaredo.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_41
