Julia's House stand out from the crowd with new banners
(PRWEB UK) 18 February 2015 -- Providing seriously ill children and their families respite, relaxation and fun, Julia’s House is the only hospice charity of its kind in the County of Dorset.
With onsite nurses and overnight accommodation, Julia’s House allows families with children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, to receive respite in a place that is secure, enriching and supportive. Offering both overnight stays and day-time play sessions, Julia’s House is able to support around 100 children across Dorset and South Wiltshire.
Currently, home care is provided in South Wiltshire, however it was recently announced that the charity will soon be building a children’s hospice in the area, meaning that more families can receive the wonderful support provided by Julia’s House and its nurses. This new hospice will be located in a central area, making it accessible to as many Wiltshire families as possible. The charity has raised half of the required £3 million needed to build the hospice, so far, thanks to private fundraising by patrons, including the film director Guy Ritchie and his fiancée Jacqui Ainsley.
In order to help raise awareness of the charity and its work, Quadrant2Design, a Poole based exhibition company, donated five portable banners to the organisation. These banners, depicting beautiful photos from various elements of the Julia’s House world, will be used across a variety of areas and at a multitude of events, including corporate fundraisers at JPMorgan and Barclays House (where the charity is based).
