Video on How Assessments Can Lead to Safety Label Best Practices Released by Clarion Safety Systems
Milford, PA (PRWEB) February 24, 2015 -- Clarion Safety Systems, a leading designer and manufacturer of safety signs and safety labels, has produced a video explaining product safety label best practices and how the assessments it offers to its customers help them to comply with the latest domestic and international standards. The piece is part of a series of short, educational videos designed to serve as a resource in promoting a better understanding of the design and production of state-of-the-art product safety labels and facility safety signs.
In its 2-minute video, “Safety Label Assessment Process,” Clarion explains the importance of today’s standards and the process of keeping labels current and compliant.
“It may seem a little intimidating to get up-to-date with the latest standards and figure out how best to warn about a product’s hazards. When you know what you’re doing, it’s an easy process,” says Clarion’s CEO, Geoffrey Peckham, who also chairs the ANSI Z535 Committee for Safety Signs and Colors and the U.S. Technical Advisory Group to ISO Technical Committee 145 – Graphical Symbols.
As part of the assessment process, Clarion works with companies to evaluate their labels. This means reviewing the latest OSHA, ANSI and ISO standards, considering label materials and their labels’ anticipated environment of use and durability requirements – and then providing the client with best practice recommendations.
“We work hand-in-hand with our customers to understand their processes and products, and find label solutions to meet their needs. We want to help reduce risk, and keep people alive and well. Here at Clarion, that’s what we stand for.”
As an industry leader in machinery safety labeling, Clarion collaborates with global, regional and local companies to help protect people from injury – and companies from the losses that occur when accidents happen with their products. Clarion specializes in working with its clients to develop labels that meet and exceed current standards, address unique material and durability requirements and convey specialized safety messages.
The safety label assessment process video is available through the Clarion website’s video library as well as through the company’s YouTube channel. Additional, up-to-date information covering a wide range of topics related to effective safety signs and labels can be found in Clarion’s online workplace safety sign and product safety label Learning Center.
