Dexter, Michigan (PRWEB) February 20, 2015
Valicor, Inc., announced today the opening of a new facility in Kansas City, Missouri. With the addition of this site, Valicor now has 6 centralized waste treatment facilities throughout the Midwest and South. The Kansas City location is the fourth centralized waste treatment facility to open in the last 4 years. This building joins Huntington, West Virginia; Huntsville, Alabama; and St. Louis, Missouri as recent additions to Valicor’s expanding markets.
The opening of the Kansas City facility allows Valicor to offer services to a completely new market. With the latest growth, Valicor can now reach, not only all of Missouri, but also Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, along with parts of other states. In addition to this expansion, Valicor offers plenty of service opportunities due to its extensive fleet.
There is plenty of excitement surrounding the latest addition to Valicor. General Manager, Andy Steward, stated, “This is a fairly untapped area. Valicor has a great opportunity to service a wide variety of companies throughout the greater Kansas City market. We will be able to save the customer time and money because they will be able to come directly to us when it comes to handling their environmental needs.”
Valicor has come a long way since its inception as a centralized waste treatment facility. In 1996, Valicor was the first company in the industry to receive the distinction of ISO 14001 certified. Since then, Valicor has expanded this certification to all of its waste treatment facilities, with the exception of Kansas City, which will be receiving this distinction in early 2016.
Valicor has received several distinctions throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. Valicor has been named one of the top workplaces in Cincinnati 5 years in a row, by the Cincinnati Enquirer. They also received a nomination from the Cincinnati Business Courier for the Green Business Award in 2014. This nomination was for quality and ethical services, with a focus on environmentally friendly practices.
