TPC Consulting Services welcomed regional pulp and paper mill operations personnel at the 2015 MOTAG South meeting. Discussion focused on Training’s Role In Operational Excellence. Presenter Bobby Wood, EVP TPC Consulting Services, stressed consistent employee training which ensures standardized maintenance operations throughout a changing workforce.

Wood focused on essential qualities of a successful training plan while outlining the changing industrial workforce climate. He explained that Baby Boomers are beginning to retire rapidly while facilities still must continue to operate equipment with an average age exceeding ten years. Industrial maintenance managers must find ways to proactively address any operational hurdles that hinder efficient and successful output.
