Fairfax Mover Craig Van Lines Gives Back to the Community Through Mentoring Program
Fairfax, VA (PRWEB) February 20, 2015 -- Fairfax, Virginia moving company, Craig Van Lines, has been serving clients throughout the Northern Virginia area for over 80 years. Throughout that time they have built a reputation as a company that gives back to their community. Since Craig Van Lines has four generations of family who have run the moving business, it is only natural that they are fully integrated into the community. Craig Van Lines has expanded their community involvement by donating time and money, as well as spreading the message of Outdoor Odyssey, a mentoring and team building organization.
As the local moving company of choice in the Northern Virginia area, Craig Van Lines is busy every day moving residential and business customers. But that doesn't mean they don't take the time to help with their important philanthropic mission.
"We think that by spending a little time helping this important organization, it will come back to our company," said Fred Craig, fourth generation owner of Craig Van Lines, "It's not just about letting people know our company cares, it's about doing the right thing."
While donating time volunteering at organized events helps tremendously, the organization can't function without monetary donations. Craig Van Lines will be consistently donating a portion of its profits to Outdoor Odyssey.
"Whatever we can give, is a small price to pay for such a worthy cause," said Craig.
Fred Craig and his wife, Leslie, are helping to spread the word about Outdoor Odyssey by donating time and money, of course, but also in their regular customer and business interactions. By helping spread the word about the benefits of the organization, the Craig's hope to bring more youth to the program and also develop Outdoor Odyssey's team building programs.
"We couldn't be happier than to spread the word about this fantastic organization," said Leslie Craig.
Craig Van Lines has plans to continue the philanthropic effort with Outdoor Odyssey throughout 2015 and beyond.
