On the heels of a record-setting year, Converge Consulting has increased revenue projections for FY’15 after an unparalleled first quarter. Though the regional economy indicates a slowing pace, Converge continues to pace above benchmarks.
The firm recently announced growth of more than 100% for FY’14, the second year running. Midway through Q1 FY’15, Converge is on track again to double revenue from FY’14.
This news comes after a year of tremendous success. For Converge, 2014 included the release of the industry’s first inbound marketing focused book, the first higher education inbound marketing conference and presentations at more than 20 industry events across the country.
In addition to industry contributions, the firm has continued to grow. Moving to a new location in the rapidly developing New Bohemia district of Cedar Rapids, the Converge team continues to grow and form new partnerships with notable schools like UCLA, Tulane, Notre Dame and Texas A&M.
This rapid growth continues to outpace the local economy. Ernie Goss, MacAllister Chair and Professor of Economics at Converge partner school Creighton University, recently released The Iowa Business Conditions Index, downgrading Iowa’s index to 52.2 in January, down from 53.4. The recent manufacturing layoffs by firms such as John Deere and the strengthening dollar, cited as the reasons for the economic downgrade, have not impacted the firm.

Converge plans to continue this success through familiar activities, including Converge 2015: An Inbound Marketing Conference for Higher Education. Like last year’s conference, Converge 2015 will focus on what is new and next in higher education marketing. Additionally, the firm plans on adding staff and expanding offices to accommodate for growth.
