The Dallas-Fort Worth dealership begins company-wide weight loss competition to raise health awareness.

Grubbs Nissan is conducting a “Greatest Loser” contest for their 140 employees from now until May 1, 2015. Employees weighed in on February 6 in the Nissan Training room and will be required to weigh in every Friday at 11 a.m.

Winners will be determined by percent of body weight lost and total weight loss for both male and female contestants. The final prizes will be determined once the total amount of money has been calculated from sponsors and donations.

“We’re looking forward to promoting healthy weight loss within our community while also having fun!” said Keith Wilde, Sales Manager. “By providing an informative, motivational and engaging event Grubbs Nissan hopes that more people will be encouraged to exercise and eat right on their own.”

Participants are voluntary and included a required registration fee of $50 or $100 depending on whether they elected to have public or private weigh-ins. Grubbs Nissan matched each registration fee per participant that will go towards the final prizes.

“We greatly appreciate any and all local support and willingness to partner with our team at Grubbs Nissan to expand our goals of fostering a healthy and happier work force!” said Wilde.

Grubbs Nissan has invited local business to help support their fitness competition by donating money as a sponsor. There are varying levels of sponsorship ranging from $100 to $10,000. Depending on the level of sponsorship, vendors will receive recognition at Grubbs Nissan Greatest Loser events, social media and many more advertising efforts.
