Black Gate Games Updates The Platino Engine to 64-bit
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) February 20, 2015 -- The popular Platino Engine, which allows developers to build applications for iOS and Android using JavaScript, has been updated to support Apple’s latest 64-bit requirements.
The update is the first of many planned by the Black Gate Games team who will be using the engine for their own in-house projects, while continuing to make it available to developers.
John Gould, President of Black Gate Games, said of the update: “Black Gate Games is dedicated to the Platino Engine that so many developers use. This allows Platino to continue providing the best service to our user community.”
Along with the release of the new 64-bit-supported versions of the Platino Game Engine, Chipmunk2D physics and ALmixer modules, Black Gate Games has provided updated sample code, documentation, and an overhauled developer forum on their Platino-dedicated site, http://platino.io.
