EDRM, the leading standards organization for the e-discovery market, announces a new partnership with the eDiscovery Daily Blog, provided by CloudNine, which includes daily publication of eDiscovery Daily on the EDRM website.
eDiscovery Daily, provided by CloudNine, is a trusted source of news and insights in the legal industry, providing timely information on e-discovery trends, case law and best practices. Since its inception in September 2010, eDiscovery Daily has logged over 1,100 posts and covered more than 250 cases with key e-discovery case law decisions. As part of the new partnership, eDiscovery Daily will also provide exclusive content to EDRM, including articles sharing real-life examples of organizations using EDRM resources in their own e-discovery workflows.
“eDiscovery Daily has established itself as a ‘go-to’ resource for e-discovery news and analysis,” EDRM co-founders George Socha and Tom Gelbmann say. “We are excited to add eDiscovery Daily as a partner and offer its daily topics on the EDRM website.”
Doug Austin, eDiscovery Daily editor, remarks, “Having participated in EDRM since 2006, I have seen firsthand its rise to become the leading standards organization in e-discovery. eDiscovery Daily is excited to partner with EDRM, and we look forward to jointly promoting best practices and standards within the e-discovery community.”
EDRM creates practical resources to improve e-discovery and information governance. Launched in May 2005, EDRM was established to address the lack of standards and guidelines in the e-discovery market. In January 2006, EDRM published the Electronic Discovery Reference Model, followed by additional resources such as IGRM, CARRM and the Talent Task Matrix. Since its launch, EDRM has comprised 313 organizations, including 184 service and software providers, 71 law firms, 44 corporations, 7 governmental entities, 3 industry groups and 4 educational institutions involved with e-discovery and information governance.
CloudNine enables law firms to save time and money by consolidating all their e-discovery collection, processing and review requirements into one resource. CloudNine’s cloud-based e-discovery software assists in the collection, processing and review of large volumes of data, reducing the expense of traditional processing, loading and hosting. CloudNine owns, operates and manages a dedicated cloud environment, offered as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) without user fees, where the hardware, storage and network are dedicated to CloudNine’s e-discovery platform. CloudNine’s blog, eDiscovery Daily, is in its fifth year as a trusted source of information in the legal industry.
