Callitics and News Meme Launch Updates to Its Startups
Peoria Heights, IL (PRWEB) February 27, 2015 -- Almost a year ago a start up, Callitcs, was a beta of a few piles of Objective C and Java. Now, it is turning into not just a prototype, but a very interesting product that anyone can use to effect change in America.
"What is better than developing small, fun software? Nothing, that's what. And so there's updates all the time," says Tom Howard, Callitics is amping for up a major update to its political advocacy software and CSS updates to its meme-linking software.
"A month ago everyone would ask, what the heck-fire is meme-linking? says "Henry Getz, co-founder of Callitics. News Meme, the current incantation of Callitics meme-linking software turns internet content into user created memes.
"Meme linking is another thing we invented," says Howard. "That's why we are changing the name of the company from Callitics, to Curly Brackets, displayed as { }." The Curly Bracket is an homage to coding and a statement as to where the company wants to go.
"Its not a Curly Brace," says Getz. "Braces are for teenagers, and every other bracket is called a bracket." Between the Curly Brackets is where the function runs. Except for Python, the partners note, which uses indentation instead.
"Our company is going to dedicate itself to writing fun, small software. Our offerings do that now. We want to work with developers to make their dreams as well," says Howard.
Callitics, LLC. makes the smallest and most fun code they can and works with anyone that has a vision for the same. Their founders have gone back to making up crazy cool stuff that runs between the Curly Brackets. See all their errors, or undocumented functions on their software. Join them if you love software and hate people that nickel-and-dime you out of your money for no other value than being sold.
