CloudOne (http://www.oncloudone.com), a leader in bringing enterprise applications to the cloud, announced today the launch of the CloudOne Internet of Things (IoT) Lab. The CloudOne IoT Lab will serve as a transformative space for real-time collaboration with customers and prospects to work hand in hand with CloudOne’s technical experts to strategize, test and deploy fast and economical IoT solutions to make their things for the Internet of Things.
The CloudOne IoT Lab was unveiled February 21, 2015 in Las Vegas during IBM InterConnect 2015: The Premier Cloud & Mobile Conference. Following the event, CloudOne will be building its new technical center in Chicago, IL – a permanent home for the majority of the company’s technical team, led by local Ben Chodroff, Chief Technology Officer. In the lab, customers will get hands-on with the CloudOne platform, including IBM continuous engineering, asset management and analytics technologies; as well as with CloudOne’s newly-announced global secure messaging platform.
“The CloudOne IoT Lab allows our team to brainstorm IoT-enabled solutions with customers in real-time. This will speed delivery of connected products while embracing and extending existing customer investments in partner technologies, data and processes,” said John McDonald, CEO of CloudOne.
“Working together, IBM and CloudOne will have the opportunity to reach a diverse client base, providing a full lifecycle of industry-leading IoT solutions,” said Bret Greenstein, vice president, IoT Continuous Engineering and Asset Management Solutions, IBM. "The combination of IBM Continuous Engineering solutions for IoT makers and CloudOne managed service offerings can enable clients to solve some of their toughest business challenges."
Today’s announcement follows the news that CloudOne was named a winner of a 2015 IBM Beacon Award for Outstanding Continuous Engineering Solution and continues to be a leader in how IoT is made.
