Andre' Phillipe launched in Dallas in March of 2013. That year, they not only won the Dallas A-List Award for "Best Men's Clothing" after being in business for mere months, but they also found themselves meeting with one of the largest luxury retailers in the world, having a conversation that is still ongoing. Fast forward to 2014 and 2 more "Best of" nods find their way to the ambitious startup as they repeated as Dallas-A List winners and were also called "One of the 5 Best Custom Clothiers in Dallas" by D Magazine. To say that they are off to a quick start is an understatement. And they have their sites on new markets.
Chief Creative Officer of Andre' Phillipe, Jason Smith, said, "We've lifted quickly, for sure, but there is still plenty of work to do. We could have grown faster than we have, but we are more interested in growing our business the right way and not the fastest way. For us, the time is now to expand into new areas of the country."
It's this commitment to being strategic and patient that continues to propel the Andre' Phillipe brand and Andre' Phillipe himself says that they are prepared and excited to launch in new markets.
"We wanted to make sure that we knew who we were and really had a grip on our identity before we took AP outside of Dallas. Not only from the brand perspective, but also as it relates to our product, processes and culture. Without a doubt, today, we know who we are and our vision is crystal clear. And now it's time for us to take expand our brand to other parts of the country." Chief Executive Officer, Andre' P. van den Broeck, said.
Austin, TX is the next stop for the company, officially launching in April of this year with a launch event happening on 4/30. They have begun transacting business in the Austin market and are already in conversations to launch in Miami, Naples, FL and Las Vegas.
Smith said, "Just as important as where we launch is with whom we launch these markets. Andre' is very protective of our culture and our vision, but we are prepared to launch wherever and whenever it is right and makes sense. The time is right for us though. Absolutely."
