Connected World Magazine Recognizes Annual Connected World Award and ConnectED Award Winners at Gala
Carol Stream, Ill. (PRWEB) February 24, 2015 -- Peter Drucker once said “innovation is the specific instrument of entrepreneurship.” On Monday evening, Connected World magazine honored those making that sentiment a reality at the 2015 Connected World Awards Gala.
Connected World magazine presented both the Connected World Awards and the ConnectED Awards during a formal gala. Held annually as a part of the Connected World Conference, the 2015 event took place at the Birmingham Marriott in Alabama.
The Connected World Awards honor companies that have successfully leveraged IoT/M2M and connected devices to solve a critical pain point within their businesses while demonstrating quantifiable results. Working with solution providers to help make their technology adoption a success, entries can include a security application that makes devices secure, a mobile application, or a new product introduction as it relates to connected devices and IoT/M2M.
The ConnectED Awards recognize individuals who have applied innovation and vision to successfully bring their ideas to the IoT/M2M and connected-device marketplace.
The recipients of the 2015 awards represent examples of what can be done today in the IoT (Internet of Things). Winning companies came from an array of vertical markets and applications including the connected car, connected home, fleet management, and vending.
“Smart energy. Mobile testing. Fleet tracking. Risk management. These are just a few of the ways the companies are capitalizing on connected technology to improve business processes,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director, Connected World magazine. “The 2015 Connected World Awards winners are leveraging the Internet of Things to transform the technology landscape.”
