Browseplay Debuts New Video Format at Launch Festival 2015
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) February 25, 2015 -- Video technology startup Browseplay, Inc., will introduce its new cross platform, interactive video format at Launch Festival 2015 taking place March 2-4 at Fort Mason in San Francisco.
The Browseplay product (BP) is a fast, secure, cross-platform, interactive solution for mobile and web video. Developers using BP can integrate video into their mobile websites in the same way they do with images.
“This new way of delivering high quality video is a one and done solution for developers,” said Addison Hardy, Chief Scientist at BrowsePlay. “Because it's cross platform and doesn’t require a plug-in, it’s much easier to use and faster than other video options.”
“As an ex-ad agency guy, I really like the interactive piece,” said Chip Venters, CTO. “Anything inside of a video can be linked, even if its moving. This opens up exciting possibilities for advertising, ecommerce and especially education. Imagine students in a classroom touching objects inside a video to retrieve information.”
“We designed it with the problems of mobile video in mind,” Hardy added. “Browseplay automatically scales to any screen size and can be pinch zoomed like an image. It brings a new dimension to the smaller mobile screen sizes.”
Browseplay will be demonstrated at Launch Festival 2015 and is offering a free trial period on the streaming video product.
Browseplay has patents pending on this new technology plus it has licensed a portfolio of 35 granted patents. The business model is software as a service.
