zeotap Hires Former Sprint Executive Serge Bushman As SVP Business Development To Launch US Office
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) February 25, 2015 -- zeotap, a technology company that helps mobile network operators (MNOs) leverage their data assets, today announced the launch of its US office with the hire of industry veteran Serge Bushman, formerly Director of Strategy and New Business Development on Sprint’s Pinsight Media+ team, as SVP Business Development.
Bushman is a telecoms industry veteran with more than 12 years of experience at telecommunications giant Sprint. Most recently, he served as Director of Strategy and New Business Development at Pinsight Media+, a wholly owned Sprint subsidiary designed to help the carrier explore new opportunities in mobile advertising, app development, analytics and commerce. Bushman joined Pinsight Media+ through the acquisition of OneLouder Apps, a mobile app development and advertising company, where he was Director of New Business. Prior to that, he held various roles at Sprint across the marketing, sales, strategy and product development units. He is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Business School.
As SVP Business Development, Bushman will nurture zeotap’s relationships with carriers in North America and bring the company’s proprietary technology to the US market. He will also help build the company’s team in the region. “zeotap is pioneering a disruptive new end-to-end data service for carriers. Their solution has the potential to fundamentally change the manner in which carriers monetize their data assets. zeotap was founded by a team with extensive experience at Vodafone, IBM and Fyber (RNTS Media) as a data platform to connect MNOs with the app and advertising ecosystem. It is backed by the HitFox group and prominent business angels including former executives at Deutsche Telekom, McKinsey and AOL.
