TPC Wire & Cable, Corp. Introduces Thermo-Trex® 200-HD, a Superior Cable Replacement of Silicone Rubber Motor Lead (SRML) Cable for Industrial Applications
MACEDONIA, OH (PRWEB) March 05, 2015 -- TPC Wire & Cable Corp., a leading supplier of wire, cable, connectors and assemblies is pleased to introduce a superior replacement of standard silicone rubber motor lead (SRML) cable. The company created the new and improved Thermo-Trex® 200-HD cable to meet the demand for a heat-resistant, flexible cable that offers better cut-through and abrasion resistance than traditional SRML products.
The flexibility of the Thermo-Trex® 200-HD cable is achieved by using finely stranded, tinned copper conductors and a specially woven high-density fabric jacket enriched with moisture-resistant finishing compounds. High-heat resistance allows the Thermo-Trex® 200-HD to withstand continuous temperatures up to 392°F (200°C) and flash heat up to 775°F (413°C). The high-density fabric jacket adds protection against cut-through and abrasion.
“We’re excited to introduce our new Thermo-Trex® 200-HD Cable. This new cable will provide better solutions for our customers who are looking for a cable with added product benefits over traditional SRML,” said Debra Tromp, Product Manager at TPC. Thermo-Trex 200HD® can benefit virtually any market including food and beverage, oil and gas, transportation, mining, utilities, steel, medical and government facilities.
