Uniting Bucks County Banks Hire Rebranding Agency Furia Rubel
Perkasie, PA (PRWEB) February 26, 2015 -- Local Bucks County banks First Savings Bank of Perkasie and First Federal of Bucks County have chosen Furia Rubel Communications, Inc., as Agency of Record to shape the brand for the new financial institution created by their unification.
The two banks in November 2014 announced their intent to unite their businesses. The new bank will remain an independent, mutual financial organization, locally owned and responsive to its customers and communities.
As part of the unification process, the banks solicited proposals from various marketing agencies to direct the creation of the new brand for the new bank. After reviewing written proposals and in-person presentations, leaders from both banks unanimously awarded the contract to Bucks County-based Furia Rubel.
“Our marketing team could not have selected a better agency to handle our rebranding campaign,” said Jeane Coyle, President and CEO of First Federal of Bucks County, who will assume the same role for the new bank. “It was clear from the outset that Furia Rubel understands what it means to market a local, independent mutual institution. They are guiding us through a methodical, research-based rebranding effort built on the perspectives of our customers, employees and the communities we serve.”
“We are excited to guide the branding for what will become the largest mutual organization in Bucks County and the third-largest in Pennsylvania,” said Gina F. Rubel, President and CEO of the agency. “It will be important for the new brand to convey its wide array of financial services including banking, insurance, investments and trusts. And we want customers and prospects to understand that the new bank is committed to the best interests of every personal account holder and business customer. At the end of the day, the brand is about what the institution can and will do for its customers.”
Founded in 2002, Furia Rubel Communications is an integrated marketing and public relations agency. The award-winning, woman-owned agency provides strategic planning, marketing, branding, public relations, graphic design, website and blog design, social media and media relations services to a wide array of professional clients across the United States.
Based in Perkasie, Pa., First Savings offers banking, insurance, investments, and trust services at 11 branch locations throughout Central and Upper Bucks County. First Federal is based in Bristol, Pa., and offers personal and business banking at 11 branch locations mostly in Lower Bucks County. Together, they employ about 300 people.
The unification will extend the banks’ footprint, combine their capital reserves, and allow them to offer a wider array of financial products and services, while reinforcing their commitments to their local communities, customers, and team members.
The closing is anticipated in the second quarter of 2015.
