Francis Drake Eyewear to be recognized at Miva Inc.'s annual conference on March 26th 2015

Francis Drake Eyewear Logo is one of sixteen finalists that will be recognized at MivaCon 2015. Nominated alongside three others in the “Best Feature” category, will be applauded for their unique “Virtual Try-on.” functionality. The winner of this category will be announced at the Blades Ecommerce Awards dinner during Miva Inc.’s annual conference, on Thursday, March 26th 2015, at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla, in San Diego, California.

The Blades Ecommerce Awards is in its third year running at the 15th Annual MivaCon. This esteemed award ceremony recognizes the Miva websites that boast the best visual appeal, advanced functionality, ease of use, and overall shopping experience. In the category is nominated – “Best Feature”, Miva Inc. was looking for innovative features launched in 2014, and must be unique and valuable to the customer’s shopping experience or to the merchant’s back end operations.

Francis Drake Eyewear's "Virtual Try-on" feature allows customers to try on any eyeglass frame from their collection via webcam. It displays 3D eyeglasses on the customer's face and follows their head movements.
