While we’ll certainly be providing product-focused presentations via our new Knowledge Base, we also want to ensure that its accessible and relevant to the broader IT community.

In an effort to help both emerging and established IT professionals deepen their knowledge so they can enjoy more rewarding and successful careers, Remote Desktop Manager (RDM) creator Devolutions announced today the launch of its new Knowledge Base.

Devolutions’ new Knowledge Base, which is accessible via the company’s Slideshare page at http://www.slideshare.net/DevolutionsInc, features on-demand presentations on a wide variety of IT topics, including (but not limited to) those related to the company’s products: Remote Desktop Manager, Devolutions Cloud, Remote Desktop Manager Server, and Password Vault Manager.

According to Devolutions’ founder and CEO David Hervieux, publishing expert-crafted learning and development material for both its customer base, and for members of the IT community in general, was a critical design feature of the new Knowledge Base.

“We currently offer a vast and growing amount of product-based information via our recently re-designed online help portal and forum,” commented Mr. Hervieux, who has overseen the evolution of his company from a start-up located in his basement, to a thriving firm that has more doubled its staffing contingent over the past couple of years and now serves over 200,000 IT professionals in more than 100 countries. “And while we’ll certainly be providing product-focused presentations via our new Knowledge Base -- such as tips and more to help our users get the most out of their Remote Desktop Manager or Password Vault Manager experience -- we also want to ensure that its accessible and relevant to the broader IT community, including those who are just getting started in the field and want a solid foundation of information to build on.”

The inaugural presentation in Devolutions’ new Knowledge Base is entitled “Why Use a Virtual Protocol Network (VPN)?”. As with all presentations, it is available at no-cost, and can be accessed on-demand from any Internet-enabled device without the need to sign-up or subscribe.

Several additional presentations are currently in development, and will be added to the Devolutions Knowledge Base in the coming weeks and months.

More information on Devolutions’ new Knowledge Base, including an invitation for community members to submit presentation ideas and suggestions, is available via the company’s blog at http://blog.devolutions.net/2015/02/introducing-the-new-devolutions-knowledge-base.html.
