“From the Panhandle to southern Florida, we discovered Florida’s best commuter cities are scattered throughout the state,” said Obrella Data Analyst Alexis Chianis. “Regardless of what part of Florida they call home, 4 out of 10 residents who live in the cities on our list get to work in less than 15 minutes. That’s 60 percent faster than the average American. We also noted quite a few of Florida’s best commuter cities offer public bus service. A well-developed mass transit system helps minimize traffic congestion and may be one reason why two of Florida’s most populated cities, Tallahassee and Gainesville, earned a spot on our list.”
