There is a real solution for hair loss. I want to be a part of that solution to help people feel great about themselves. - Parsa Mohebi, MD

Dr. Parsa Mohebi, a world-renowned hair transplant surgeon, is set to live stream his hair transplant contest winner’s surgery on Friday, February 27, 2015. After weeks of decision-making and preparation, the winner Marc R., is all set to receive his grand prize of 2000 grafts via Robotic FUE transplant using the ARTAS system. His procedure will be done on a live feed which will be streamed from the Parsa Mohebi website. To watch the surgery, go to the website and experience everything from the homepage. Don’t worry though folks; there will be no blood or graphic imagery shown.

The procedure will be recorded from a fixed camera in the operating room from 9am to 12pm, over the course of an estimated three-hour period, revealing the most intricate parts of the surgery. The live stream is to be used as an educational and expansion tool in order to let the public, and future patients know, how the entire procedure and system works.

Dr. Parsa Mohebi has continued his successful practice and in turn has decided to give back to the community that has supported him so much through the years. By offering up this contest prize, Dr. Mohebi is determined to end the stigma of shame associated with hair loss and hair transplants, while simultaneously providing a unique opportunity to one lucky, balding participant.

“I can’t tell you how many people, male and female, I speak to on a regular basis that have told me that they’re scared. They’re scared of the embarrassment of losing hair, even though there is nothing to be embarrassed about. It’s nature. But, after that comes the fear of your family and friends of finding out that you’ve had a hair transplant, which again, is nothing to be embarrassed about. You simply want to correct what genetics and time has taken away. There’s nothing wrong with that,” says Dr. Mohebi.

“I want people to feel comfortable talking about it, and facing the reality that this nothing to be ashamed or scared. There is a real solution for hair loss. I want to be a part of that solution to help people feel great about themselves.”
