With a rising demand for eDiscovery managed services in the German marketplace, Iris Data Services today announced that they have opened an office in Frankfurt, the financial hub of the country.
Iris was first introduced to its German clients because of the country’s strict data security standards. German professionals needed eDiscovery managed services, but only if those services came with guaranteed, state-of-the-art security. Iris easily met this need with its tight security systems, and thus began Iris’ relationship with Germany. The existing demand for Iris’ services in Germany encouraged the company to open a local office in order to be as accessible as possible for their German clients.
“eDiscovery is now a global endeavor,” said Major Baisden, president of Iris Data Services. “Having a physical presence in Germany is the price of poker. Each country’s data security issues need to be addressed locally.”
“Between the existing demand for managed services and the strict data security governance, opening an office in Germany was an easy business decision for Iris,” said Damon Goduto, co-founder and vice president of sales at Iris.
Iris’ growth in Europe began in 2013 when it opened its London office. Iris’ offices are quickly expanding across the globe: its European headquarters resides in London, England, and the company also maintains offices throughout the United States, India, and China.
