The Scribble Podcast Hits the Internet with Syndicated Radio Host Jeremy Bradley at the Microphone
Winnipeg, Manitoba (PRWEB) March 02, 2015 -- The Scribble with Jeremy Bradley, produced by SpeakFree Media Inc., hits the Internet today. Long-time radio host and syndicated newspaper columnist Jeremy Bradley is at the microphone for this weekly 30-minute podcast.
Featuring celebrity guests, irreverent rants and even cheapskate tips from the bestselling author himself, Bradley takes listeners on a journey to give them a laugh and decrease their productivity at the same time.
"We'd been trying to get JB to sign onto another broadcast since last spring but with three shows, newspaper columns and books, he was hesitant," said The Scribble's executive producer Tim Chislam, who also EPs SpeakFree's syndicated programs Top of The Charts, The Open Road with Jeremy Bradley, and Entertainment Wrap Up. "Earlier this year he agreed and the result so far has been incredible. The star power alone for an independent broadcaster is second to none."
Episode 1 features Bradley chatting with Survivor host Jeff Probst, The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan and Celebrity Apprentice winner Leeza Gibbons. In the weeks to come, JB is joined by Shark Tank stars Kevin O'Leary and Barbara Corcoran, Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan, and music legends Gloria Gaynor, The Village People, and KC and the Sunshine Band.
"When we were planning the guest list, JB's phone kept going off and he was so casual about it," said Chislam. "It's just Twitter: ah, Roseanne. Oh, Leeza. I have worked on radio shows with him for almost nine years and I am still in awe of what JB pulls off."
Listeners will be treated to extended interviews with celebrity guests not aired on the company's syndicated radio broadcasts.
"I talk a lot but sometimes the celebs talk even more and interviews run crazy long so we have to chop them up to fit on the air," said Bradley. "The challenge on radio is that the music (on the top 40 or country music programs) always gets in the way! So we've taken out the music and gone all talk for 30 minutes with The Scribble."
Twice named an outstanding talk media webcaster by Talkers magazine, Bradley said he's up for the challenge of podcasting.
"I really have to do very little for this show," Bradley said with a laugh. "A lot of the stuff is from radio so we're just using a cheapskate way to squeeze every dime out of content we already have! Actually, it's a different format. We taped four episodes in one day and each show is like a 30-minute marathon without a break for music and commercials. I'm definitely going through a lot of vod...ter on The Scribble. Water. I said water."
