The Historic Chisholm Trail Comes Alive this Weekend with the "Sound of Music" Performing in Duncan, OK, The Heart of the Chisholm Trail
Duncan, OK (PRWEB) February 24, 2015 -- If you missed the opportunity to see Duncan Little Theatre's annual musical, held every February, it is not too late. This is the last weekend for you to see the "Sound of Music", the story of the Von Trapp family singers and their exodus from Austria during the Nazi occupation in World War II. This very popular musical classic, with songs like "My Favorite Things" and "Do Re Mi Fa" is certain to delight the theater going public. 2015 marks the 20 year anniversary for the "Sound of Music" being done by Duncan Little Theatre and is being done in memory of Jimmy Zinn, Duncan High School Vocal Music Teacher for many years, who starred as Captain Von Trapp in the community's original production. This production is directed by Danielle Flesher, former Duncan Little Theatre child actor, taught by Mr. Zinn in high school and a graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma's Musical Theatre program.
