Providing high quality precision engineering and assembly services since 1920, Muffett Gears, located in Tunbridge Wells, specialises in focusing closely on investing in the very best people and equipment to ensure clients receive exceptional customer service and quality standards. A significant proportion of Muffett Gears’ customers are in the Medical sector, but 2014 brought new customers in from different market sectors including Electro-mechanic Brakes & Clutches, Oil & Gas and Audio Visual Satellite Systems.

Now in their third generation as an engineering company, Muffett Gears has been steadily growing since its founding by Stanley Muffett. 2014 saw a huge year of growth for the company. With an investment in excess of £750,000 into new, advanced machinery and specialist measuring equipment, including the Zeiss Prismo 5 that is designed to measure all types of gears and is accurate to within one micron, Muffett Gears was able to raise its already high standards and provide quality services to customers, both new and old.

In line with their new, high quality machinery, Muffett Gears commissioned a high quality Prestige Exhibition Stand for Southern Manufacturing and Electronics in February 2015. With high level branding, integrated showcases and sophisticated seamless effect graphics, this Prestige Exhibition System, supplied by the South Coast based Exhibition Stand Specialists Quadrant2Design, is portable and modular, and can be used a multitude of times across a variety of spaces due to the ability to refigure the components.

Southern Manufacturing is the UK’s largest regional manufacturing technology, electronics and subcontracting exhibition. Muffett Gears have been attending the Southern Manufacturing exhibition for many years and find that the show allows them to meet both new and existing customers, who are looking for high quality precision engineering.
