Coding Campus Partners with UVU – Extending Educational Opportunities to All
Provo, Utah (PRWEB) March 03, 2015 -- Coding Campus, a coding boot camp located in Provo, Utah, has formed a partnership with Utah Valley University (UVU) to offer its 12-week web development course to university students through the Department of Community and Continuing Education. The partnership between Coding Campus and UVU is the first of its kind and has some significant ramifications for prospective students.
Coding Campus is a web development bootcamp that offers intensive 12-week courses to provide students with extensive training in Python, Django, and Angular. Since being founded in 2013, Coding Campus has placed 93% of their online and on-site graduates at top tech companies within just two months of graduation.
“We’re thrilled to be working so closely with an accredited university like UVU, especially because of the unique access to additional federal and state financing it provides to our students,” says Coding Campus Founder, Michael Zaro.
As a result of the partnership, individuals now have the opportunity to attend Coding Campus by enrolling directly through a major university. By working with accredited universities, Coding Campus is bridging the gap between traditional education and new, accelerated programs for in-demand skills like web development.

Coding Campus’ students practice and acquire in-demand web development skills that translate directly to real-world employer needs. In addition, throughout the course, students gain experience and build a portfolio of web applications by working on real projects with Coding Campus hiring partners – ranging from startups and small businesses to major tech companies like InsideSales, Mozilla, Ancestry.com, PluralSight and more.
Coding Campus is working with other top universities to extend the same financial and educational opportunities to university students all over the country. After completing the course, Coding Campus students are starting new careers making $50,000-$100,000 nationwide.
