Chicago-based CD One Price Cleaners is partnering for the first time this year with The Cara Program to collect donated interview attire that will help give motivated individuals that have been affected by homelessness and poverty the chance to succeed.

All 33 Chicago-land CD One Price Cleaners began accepting donated, gently-used interview attire on February 7th and will continue receiving donations until March 24th. Skirt and pant suits, dress pants, blouses and shirts, and blazers and jackets are all being accepted. CD One Price Cleaners will then clean the items for free and prepare them for transfer to The Cara Program. These donated items will be used by individuals in The Cara Program when interviewing for jobs.

“The mission of CD One is to improve people’s lives with a better way. The Cara Program allows us to accomplish that goal. We are very proud to be their partner,” said John Morocco, vice president of marketing for CD One Price Cleaners. “Their work makes a difference in the lives of their students and families and most importantly, helps all of us appreciate a greater love for each other.”
