March Roars into Rizik’s with Five Spectacular Fashion Events
WASHINGTON, DC (PRWEB) March 02, 2015 -- WASHINGTON – Rizik’s, Washington’s leader in women’s fashion and couture for 108 years, continues its tradition of delivering luxurious daytime, evening and bridal fashions accompanied by exceptional personal service with five important designer events in March.
For fashion customers who demand the unswerving quality, cut, originality and exclusivity that come only with designer garments, Rizik’s features two collections in March, starting with a two-day trunk show March 4-5 featuring the Spring 2015 collection from Alta Moda.
Designer Christian Ruperto, originally from Italy, trained in the Paris ateliers of Chanel and Pierre Cardin. Winner of multiple European art, culture and fashion design awards, he delivers a pure and simple design esthetic that offers bold style with elegance. Now based in New York, Alta Moda draws on a variety of luxury imported fabrics to produce exclusive hand-made designs in a wide range of sizes and a made-to-measure approach that accommodates any special customer needs.
Having just completed its latest show on the runways of Milan, Max Mara is an Italian design powerhouse. Favored by actresses like Kate Mara (House of Cards), film auteur and actress Jodie Foster and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Max Mara fashions are found on women of style and elegance the world over. A representative from Max Mara will be at Rizik's on March 10 to celebrate the arrival of the Spring Collection and meet with customers.
Bridal Events
On the heels of its recent Jenny Packham and Jim Hjelm bridal events and participation in the “Engaged Washington” bridal show at the Willard Hotel, Rizik’s continues its series of bridal season events in March with trunk shows from three exclusive New York designers: Legends Romona Keveza, March 5-7; Alvina Valenta, March 20-21; and Lazaro, March 26-28.
Known for her acclaimed Luxe Bridal Collection, which she founded in 1999, Keveza launched Legends Ramona Keveza in 2006. Legends Romona Keveza was inspired by legendary fashion icons such as Grace Kelly, Jacqueline Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn and is designed with the traditional, elegant bride in mind. Renowned for her creativity and innovation, Keveza's design signature emphasizes femininity, sophisticated details and luxurious fabrications.
For all of the artists, writers, thinkers, and dreamers; for the sirens, sensualists, romanticists, muses: The Alvina bride carries herself with a distinct air of refined sensuality and a cool, modern femininity. Designer Jessica Williams has infused the classic, feminine Alvina Valenta aesthetic with her own distinctive, refreshing and contemporary point of view, breathing modern romance into the collections. Jessica's creative insights bridge the gap between sexy and sweet, creating gowns that are the perfect balance of timeless elegance and effortless chic.
The Lazaro collection of wedding gowns is a creation of romantic opulence that celebrates the strength and sensuality of brides in love. With luxurious encrusted beading, sensual shades of pastels and filmy fabrics, Lazaro Perez brings a flirtatious femininity to his work. Lazaro’s work has frequently been recognized by the fashion industry and national news media. In 2001 he garnered the award for Distinctive Excellence in the Bridal Industry (DEBI) in the category of “Style Innovator for Bridal Gowns” as well as “Designer of the Year”, among many other accolades. Lazaro frequently appears on TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” in New York and Atlanta, and WEtv’s “Girl Meets Gown”. His designs have been featured on the “Today” show, “Good Day L.A.”, American Latino TV, and Fox Business’s “Happy Hour”.
