King LASIK relocates to Surrey, British Columbia

King LASIK announces that its laser eye surgery center in the Greater Vancouver BC region has been relocated from Burnaby to Surrey, British Columbia.

Starting February 2015, Dr. Joseph King of King LASIK will perform LASIK and PRK procedures at their new location in Surrey.

In addition to providing Laser Vision Correction, Dr. Joseph King and Dr. Gabriel Chu also provide comprehensive ophthalmology services, including cataract surgery. Their ophthalmology practice in Surrey is named Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser (FVCL). This state of the art surgery facility is accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia. Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser provides comprehensive eye care to patients in need of laser vision correction, cataract surgery, diabetic retinal evaluations, eyelid surgery, and most general ophthalmology conditions.

About Dr. Joseph King, MD
Dr. King received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of British Columbia, followed by an ophthalmology residency at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Case Western Reserve in Cleveland. He also completed additional training at the University of South Florida. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. As a former LASIK patient himself, Dr. King appreciates the difference LASIK can make in a person’s life. Dr. King has successfully performed more than 100,000 LASIK/PRK procedures.

About Dr. Gabriel Chu, MD
Dr. Chu received his Doctor of Medicine Degree at the University of Alberta and completed his surgical training at the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Chu is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia.
